Harpy

My first digital painting in forever!    Harpies represent the power of wind, and what is more likely to rip apart your body and soul than a beautiful woman tornado.  As I was working on this, I thought more about the idea and wanted to try something more interesting than a plain portrait, but no!  That is the path to unfinished paintings, and I've been down that path long enough.

Personally, I've never been very comfortable painting digitally.  I read through this tutorial and felt, for the first time, that I could actually do it! This is the first digital painting that came out nearly as I wanted it to. What do you think?  I hope to do another one soon, given my comic doesn't eat up all of my time.
